The principalship is increasingly complex and multifaceted. Motivating and supporting staff to provide effective instructional strategies within caring and supportive environments is the core of school leadership.

School administration is multifold, ranging from educational to moral leadership, but how do practicing school leaders perceive their training?

This study reports on how the equity lens is incorporated in the principal leadership curricula of Hong Kong and Ontario. How school leaders perceived the training and preparation they received prior to being promoted to their current leadership role?
