State formation and education: Pro-Beijing schools and national education in Hong Kong
This article examines the connection between pro-Beijing schools and national education, focusing on the shaping of national education in the history of Hong Kong. The study also illuminates the similarities in national educational practices between the government-approved post-1997 model and the traditions of these pro-Beijing schools. © 2013 by the Regents of the University of California.
